PrePro is the first product in the Core 4, your essential, everyday skincare routine. PrePro is your everyday hydrating cleanser, suitable for use twice a day (more, if the mood should strike you!), and ideal for removing every scrap of your makeup, too! It’s also pretty nifty at balancing the good and bad bacteria of your skin and giving something back, in terms of pre and probiotic goodness.

PreProbiotic cleanse is a lightweight, everyday, cream cleanser. But the clue is in indeed in the name, because there’s more to PreProbiotic Cleanse!

What are the Rockstar Ingredients of PreProbiotic Cleanse?

This cleanser contains a formulation of prebiotics, probiotics, and poly hydroxy acid. 

PrePro contains the prebiotic oligosaccharide, and the probiotic lactobacillus. 

Oligosaccharide is ideal for skin-soothing, while lactobacillus is a probiotic which boosts the skin’s natural moisturising factor. These pre and probiotics work with the skin’s natural microbiome to help to balance out the good and bad bacteria. 

Yes, your skin has a microbiome, too, just like your gut! 

Good (and bad) bacteria lives on your skin, and the job of good skincare is to help support this balance as best as possible, and to ensure that your skin gets everything it needs. 

PrePro also contains the polyhydroxy acid gluconolactone. This helps to hydrate your skin, and assists your skin in carrying our exfoliation without causing irritation to the skin.

If you’re feeling the fear when you read the word ‘exfoliation’, then we assure you that there’s no need to worry. The exfoliation is super duper gentle, making this cleanser suitable for even sensitive hoomans.

How To Use PrePro

Cleansing is the first step in your skincare routine, whether you’re using Skingredients or a more eclectic combination of products. We always suggest precleansing with the tool of your choice – in our routine it’s the Cleanse Off Mitt!

Soak your Cleanse Off Mitt in warm water and wring it out. Swipe it in circles from the centre of your face outwards. Then, the moment we’ve all been waiting for – PrePro takes the stage.

Pump out a coin-sized amount of PrePro onto clean hands. This is usually about 3-4 pumps. Spread it between your hands and then massage it into your damp skin for at least 60 seconds. 

Massage it in from the nipples all the way up to your hair line, around the edges of your lips and eyes, and all the way down your jawline, too (we find that many hoomans miss these important spots, but remember, cleansing is a competitive sport. We wish it was, anyway). 

After 60 seconds of cleansing, get your Cleanse Off Mitt back again, and flip it over to the clean side. Use this to help you cleanse PreProbiotic Cleanse away.

Final step – enjoy how clean and comfy your skin feels! Don’t spend too long, though, time is money, and we have serums to apply!
